The Concept2 Model E is the 5th generation of the company’s successful indoor rower, available since September 2006. It includes all the proven features of the Model D plus additional refinements: a frame that sits 6” higher for a more comfortable seat height, a one-piece leg design for greater stability and a more solid feel, a nickel-plated chain for low-maintenance and a clean look, a longer monitor arm for easier reach, and a fully enclosed chain housing for easier cleaning. The powder-coated frame is sealed with a clear top coat for extra durability, finished in a light metallic gray with dark blue-gray accents.
The PM4 Performance Monitor is standard on this Model E Indoor Rower. It builds on the PM3 with built-in compatibility with Suunto heart rate technology (chest belt provided) for improved transmission and reduced interference from nearby rowers, a rechargeable battery pack that recharges as you row (and can also be recharged via USB through a PC), increased memory capacity for future expansion and features, and on-board computing power to support machine-to-machine racing, both wireless and wired.
